Supervised Pilot

Dineax is currently documented for supervised pilot preparation. A supervised pilot is a staff-operated session where a trained operator, a supervisor, and a technical observer validate the outlet workflow before broader use.

This page describes the public operating boundary. It does not publish internal QA evidence, credentials, tenant identifiers, device serial numbers, or support logs.

Current Pilot Scope

The current supervised pilot path is limited to:

  • Manager-assisted startup after sign-in.
  • Confirming outlet context.
  • Checking business day, shift, drawer, and printer setup.
  • Running a staff-operated order-to-receipt flow.
  • Recording approved manual payment.
  • Printing and, if needed, reprinting a receipt on the selected Android direct Bluetooth receipt path.
  • Capturing operator feedback, incidents, and a post-session decision.

What Must Be Verified During The Session

During the supervised session, capture and review:

  • Outlet, operator, supervisor, and technical observer confirmation.
  • API, Android device, app launch, and printer preflight.
  • Staff login and role confirmation.
  • Order creation, item selection, bill generation, payment, receipt, and receipt printing.
  • Receipt reprint if it is required.
  • Printed total compared with the app bill and receipt total.
  • KOT handling decision for the outlet: screen-only, manual, or validated KOT print path.
  • Closing and reconciliation if the session includes end-of-day checks.
  • Operator and owner or manager feedback.
  • Incidents, defects, and stop/go decision.

Current Boundaries

The current selected pilot printing path is Android direct Bluetooth receipt printing for a specific validated Android device and Bluetooth thermal printer combination. That does not imply broad printer or device readiness.

The following remain outside the current supervised pilot scope unless a later page explicitly says otherwise:

  • Production launch.
  • Unsupervised restaurant operation.
  • Production printing.
  • Customer online payment.
  • Offline-first operation.
  • Cutter or cash drawer operation.
  • iOS/AirPrint validation.
  • Android print-agent validation.
  • Windows receipt printing validation.
  • All-device or all-printer support.

Pilot Decision Outcomes

Use these outcomes after the session:

Production Readiness

Production launch remains no-go until all required release gates have direct evidence for the target outlet, devices, printers, roles, and workflows.
