Dineax POS Manager Validation

Use this page while the manager signs in on the mobile, tablet, or POS device. The manager should not need to read this page on the same device.

Step 1: Sign In

1. Open Dineax POS.
2. Sign in with the assigned manager account.
3. Confirm the app opens the manager landing screen or operations dashboard.
4. Confirm the outlet context is correct.

Expected result: the manager reaches a clear starting point without a full-screen error.

Step 2: Confirm Session State

Check the status of:

• Business day.
• Shift.
• Cash drawer, if cash payment is in scope.
• Printer setup, if receipt printing is in scope.

Expected result: the manager knows whether the session is ready or which setup step must be completed first.

Step 3: Open Required Operations

If the session requires opening steps, complete only the required pilot scope:

1. Open business day, if not already open.
2. Open shift, if not already open.
3. Open cash drawer, if cash payment is in scope and drawer workflow is used.

Do not use manager permissions to bypass an operator role issue. If the operator cannot perform their approved workflow, record a defect.

Step 4: Handoff To Operator

After setup:

1. Confirm the operator can reach the order screen.
2. Confirm the manager can return to operations if intervention is needed.
3. Record any confusing or slow navigation step.

Expected result: manager setup supports the pilot workflow without becoming the only way to operate the system.
