Subscription and Plans
Dineax subscriptions control which tenant-level capabilities are available to an organization and how those capabilities can be evaluated over time. A subscription can be connected to a plan, plan version, trial state, entitlement overrides, usage counters, and lifecycle history.
Dineax has a subscription and entitlement foundation. Commercial module packaging, published pricing, subscription invoices, automated renewal, payment collection, proration, and commercial billing validation are not production ready.
How the Concepts Fit Together
- Plan: a versioned package of included capabilities.
- Module: a customer-facing package such as reporting, communication, or advanced kitchen capabilities. Commercial module packaging is still pending.
- Entitlement: the tenant-level right to use a capability.
- Permission: the user-level right to perform an action.
- Usage counter: a record of measured usage, such as a feature or limit counter.
Navigation visibility is not authorization. Backend authorization and entitlement enforcement remain the authoritative boundary when a feature is commercially enforced.
