Table & Floor Management

The Table & Floor Management module in Dineax Admin provides a unified workspace to configure outlet seating areas, 2D floorplan layouts, table capacities, and guest reservations.

Navigation & Access​

Access this module via Tables & Floor in the Dineax Admin sidebar rail.

Workspace Sub-Tabs​

1. Visual Floor Canvas​

  • View interactive 2D table floorplans by outlet.
  • Real-time color-coded table occupancy status:
    • 🟢 Available: Ready for guest seating.
    • 🔴 Occupied: Active order in service.
    • 🟡 Reserved: Booked for upcoming reservation.
    • 🔵 Cleaning: Service complete, awaiting busing/sanitization.

2. Table Catalog​

  • Complete list of configured tables with search and status filtering.
  • Shows table number, display name, area assignment, capacity, and active status.
  • Quick 1-click edit and table deletion actions.

3. Service Areas (Sections)​

  • Organize dining spaces into logical zones (e.g., Main Dining, Patio, Bar & Lounge, Private Dining Room).
  • Define area display ordering for KOT printing and waiter routing.

4. Reservations​

  • Schedule guest table bookings with contact details, party size, and formatted date/time slots.
  • Provides a clean overview of upcoming guest arrivals and booking statuses (Confirmed, Seated, Cancelled).

Creating & Configuring Tables​

When creating or editing a table, operators use intuitive visual controls:

  • Visual Shape Picker: Choose between Round, Square, Rectangle, and Booth / Oval shapes.
  • Seat Capacity Stepper: Adjust capacity using - / + buttons or quick preset chips (2, 4, 6, 8+ Seats).
  • Live Floorplan Preview: Real-time interactive preview badge showing how the table will render on cashier and waiter floor maps.
