Upgrades and Downgrades

Upgrades and downgrades change the tenant's plan or subscription state.

Plan Changes​

The foundation supports changing a subscription to another plan version. Future commercial plan changes should include quote preview, effective date, approval, and audit history.

Module Changes​

Module add-ons are planned. Dineax does not currently support customer-purchased individual commercial modules as active billing items.

Effective Dates​

Commercial effective-date policy is not finalized. Future behavior may include immediate changes, scheduled changes, or downgrade at period end.

Proration​

Commercial proration and self-service paid upgrades are not available in the current foundation.

Downgrade Impact and Data Retention​

A downgrade should not silently delete operational history. Future product policy should define read access, export, retention, unavailable-feature states, and support review before enforcing downgrade impact.
