Subscription Status and Lifecycle
Dineax records subscription lifecycle state so administrators and support teams can understand account status.
Statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Trial | Tenant is evaluating a trial subscription state. |
| Active | Tenant has an active subscription foundation record. |
| Suspended | Tenant access may be restricted by an administrative lifecycle action. |
| Expired | Subscription or trial period has ended. |
| Cancelled | Subscription relationship has been ended through a lifecycle action. |
Lifecycle Actions
The foundation supports activation, suspension, resume, expiry, cancellation, upgrade, downgrade, trial extension, and trial conversion actions.
Commercial lifecycle not complete
Paid renewal automation, grace periods, dunning, payment-failure handling, subscription invoice generation, and collection workflows are not production ready.
Upgrade and Downgrade Boundary
Plan changes can be represented as lifecycle transitions. Commercial quote preview, proration, credits, invoice adjustment, and downgrade-at-period-end policy remain planned.
