Subscription Overview

A Dineax subscription represents the commercial relationship between a tenant organization and Dineax. In the current foundation, it records the tenant's active or trial subscription state and connects that state to a versioned plan.

Tenant, Organization, and Outlets​

The subscription belongs to the tenant organization. Outlets, devices, staff, and operational workflows sit under that tenant. Outlet and device allowances are important commercial concepts, but outlet-based and device-based pricing are not active commercial billing behavior yet.

What a Subscription Can Show​

The foundation can represent:

  • current plan and plan version;
  • included plan features;
  • optional entitlement overrides;
  • trial state;
  • usage counters;
  • lifecycle state and history;
  • account-level visibility in Admin and Console surfaces.

Account Visibility​

Dineax Admin can show subscription administration workflows where permissions allow. Dineax Console is the intended platform owner for commercial plan, tenant subscription, entitlement, trial, usage, pricing, invoice, and collection workflows as those mature.

Support Path​

For commercially sensitive changes such as plan changes, add-ons, billing, or renewal questions, use the approved implementation or support path for the tenant. Self-service paid upgrades and subscription billing are not production ready in this foundation.
